Children's Tours & Concert Series at Crane Point Museum & nature Center

Select dates throughout 2027: January 11 and 25; February 8 and 22; March 22; April 8, 13, 15 and 29; May 20; June 14 and 28; July 12; August 23; and September 20. Enjoy an afternoon of nature, discovery, and live music at Crane Point Museum & Nature Center in Marathon.

Designed with families in mind, these special days invite children to explore Crane Point’s tropical hardwood hammock and natural surroundings through interactive activities and educational experiences that encourage curiosity about the Florida Keys environment.

The afternoon also features “Music from the Keys,” a live performance by Mateo, adding local music to a day of outdoor exploration and family fun.

Crane Point encompasses 63 acres of tropical hardwood hammock and nature trails and is home to the Museum of Natural History of the Florida Keys, providing plenty to discover before or after the scheduled activities.

Admission is free for these special program days, offering families an opportunity to explore, learn, and enjoy live music together in the heart of Marathon.
