Reel Escape Sportfishing

Reel Escape Sportfishing is a fully customizable charter and guide service based out of Big Pine Key in the Lower Florida Keys, just south of the Seven Mile Bridge, operated by Captain Chris, a USCG-licensed captain with over 18 years of experience navigating coastal tributaries and offshore waters. The charter specializes in inshore deep-drop fishing for grouper and tilefish, wreck fishing, full-day offshore swordfish trips using electric and hand-crank reels, lobster diving and bully-netting (day and night trips available), sandbar excursions on both the Gulf and Atlantic sides of Big Pine Key, and snorkeling tours to the Florida Keys reef system — all aboard a 23-foot center console for up to five passengers, with the unique option to hire Captain Chris as a private guide aboard the customer's own vessel. Reel Escape Sportfishing offers a highly personalized approach with all trips custom-tailored to the customer's goals and experience level, with pricing ranging from $400 for a 2-hour sandbar cruise to $1,800 for a full-day swordfish expedition, with fuel included in all trip prices. Captain Chris books by appointment and is available seven days a week, with lobster mini-season trips — held the last Wednesday and Thursday of July — booking up quickly and advance reservations strongly recommended.
