Scarecrows and Skeletons in the Garden

September 1 through November 30, 2026, daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Scarecrows and Skeletons in the Garden turns the Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical Garden into an open-air gallery of handmade scarecrows, built by local businesses, schools and nonprofits from natural, recycled and repurposed materials.

Wander the trails and vote for your favorite. A judges panel picks first, second and third place in each category, but Best in Show is chosen by garden visitors, so your vote counts.

The display is included with regular garden admission: $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, free for children with a paying adult, and free for members. The garden is at 5210 College Road on Stock Island.
