Audubon House & Tropical Gardens
Audubon House & Tropical Gardens offers visitors a glimpse into the life of Captain John Huling Geiger, a 19th-century maritime pilot. The house features 19th-century furnishings and a collection of 28 original Audubon prints, many inspired by the local wildlife Audubon encountered during his 1832 visit. The adjacent tropical gardens span an acre and include orchids, bromeliads, and an 1840s-style nursery, providing a serene setting for visitors.
