Beach Weekend Key West is a full service marina at 5710 Overseas Highway, on the ocean side of US-1 on Stock Island, a few minutes outside Old Town. The fleet is new, and the rental side of the operation is built for people who want to run their own day on the water rather than ride along on someone else's.

Pontoons come in three sizes: a single deck for up to 12, a 25 footer with double slides for up to 13, and a 30 footer with triple slides for up to 14, all with Bimini shade and a 70 quart cooler aboard. There is also a tiki party boat with a slide that takes up to 13. On the fishing side, a Release panga carries up to 8 and a 23 foot Everglades carries up to 6, though those two ask for medium to advanced boat handling. Rentals run four hours, eight hours or multi day, and you can add a captain at checkout if you would rather someone else drive.

The rest of the operation is what makes the day easy. There is fuel at the dock and open to the public, bait and tackle, dive gear, ice, drinks and snacks, gear and apparel, and a full ship's store, plus 144 dry storage slips and a parts and service shop for anything that needs fixing.
