Caribee Marina

Caribee Boat Sales & Marina has been on the water at mile marker 81.5 in Islamorada for more than 75 years, family owned the whole way. It is a working boat business first: new and pre-owned sales, brokerage and consignment, a service center staffed by Yamaha certified technicians who also handle Mercury outboards, and a parts counter with access to more than 200,000 items.

On the sales floor the brands run to Boston Whaler, Cobia, Axopar, Bluewater and Sportsman. Alongside that they handle financing, marine insurance and extended service contracts, so a boat can be bought, insured and maintained without leaving the lot. Dry storage is racked and forklift served, and the marina runs seven days a week from 8 to 4:45.

Caribee takes part in Florida's Clean Marina and Clean Marine Retailer programs, the state's voluntary standards for marinas and marine retailers that adopt practices protecting the water they sit on. In the Keys, where the reef starts a few miles offshore, that carries weight. Sales runs Monday through Saturday 8 to 5 and Sunday by appointment, and service opens at 7. Call (305) 664-3431.
