Cayo Vida Marina sits at 90507 Old Highway in Tavernier, on the ocean side where Old Highway meets Tavernier Creek. The doors open at 6 a.m., which in the Keys is the tell that a place is set up for people heading out rather than people looking around.

The counter keeps live and frozen bait, and the docks are home to fishing and snorkeling charters. Coastal Outfitters Sport Fishing Charters runs out of slip 1 on a 36 foot center console, going after swordfish, tarpon, snapper, grouper and shark, and also running snorkeling and sunset trips. The marina stocks its own Cayo Vida gear if you want the name on a shirt.
