Clarence S.Higgs Memorial Beach Park

Higgs Beach Park offers a blend of natural beauty, history, and recreation with attractions such as Fort West Martello, the African Refugee Memorial, and the AIDS Memorial. Visitors can swim, snorkel, sunbathe, play beach volleyball or tennis, explore the children’s playground, or enjoy rentals like kayaks and paddleboards. The park also hosts the only shore-accessible underwater marine park in the U.S., self-guided garden tours at the Key West Garden Club, and a large dog park with separate runs for small and large dogs.
