Conch Harbor Ship Store
Conch Harbor Marina sits at 951 Caroline Street at the entrance to the Key West Bight, in the Historic Seaport district and a few blocks from Duval Street. It runs 44 slips with 15 feet of water both on approach and at the dock, which is why the bigger boats come here rather than further into the harbor. Gas and diesel are on site, and they monitor VHF 16.
On the dock there is pump out, water and power, wifi, restrooms, showers, laundry, ice and round the clock security, plus a swimming pool, which is not standard issue at a working marina anywhere. The Conch Harbor Ship Store carries bait and fishing supplies along with cold beer, soda and snacks, and West Marine has a store on the property for whatever the ship store does not stock.
The point of the location is that you can tie up and stop driving. Dante's Key West and Prime 951 Steakhouse are both on the property, Conch Harbor Charters runs fishing trips off the docks, and the Historic Seaport boardwalk and Duval Street are within a few blocks. Conch Harbor also holds Florida's Clean Marina designation, the state's standard for marinas that protect the water they sit in. Call (305) 294-2933.
