Cora Beth Fishing

Cora Beth Fishing runs the Cora Beth II, a 60 foot party boat, out of 230 Margaret Street, C Dock Slip 5, at Key West Bight Marina in the Historic Seaport. It is owner operated and runs limited load, which means fewer rods on the rail than the usual head boat, and the captains are licensed with the crew trained in CPR and first aid.

The daily five hour reef trip is the mainstay, fishing within 15 miles of Key West for yellowtail, mangrove, lane and mutton snapper and red, black and gag grouper, starting from $75 and open to all ages. A ten hour Fishing Safari goes further out and stays longer, capped at 26 anglers. During Daylight Saving Time they add a four hour Sunset Snapper trip, the same fishing with the sun going down on the way in.

The best part comes after. The crew fillets your catch at the dock and restaurants around the corner in the Seaport will cook it for you, which is about as short a trip from water to plate as Key West offers. Private charters take up to 40. Call (305) 394-3659.
