Florida Keys Watersports Company operates at 82749 Overseas Highway, mile marker 82.7 ocean side in Islamorada, at Hadley House Resorts. They rent Yamaha WaveRunners and boats, and the thing they lead with is the riding area: the speed zones start seconds after you leave the dock rather than fifteen minutes into your rental, and the skis will do about 50.

Rentals run half an hour at $119 or an hour at $159, first come first served with no reservation needed. The guided options are the better value for a first visit. The 90 minute See It All tour covers roughly 22 miles past twenty islands, and the two hour Do It All combo adds snorkeling for about 24 miles, with mask, snorkel and fins provided, two sets per ski. Both run past the Venetian Shores islands and out to the Islamorada sandbar, and the snorkeling depends on the weather cooperating.

One or two riders per ski with no passenger fee and a 400 pound combined limit. You need to be 18 to rent and 14 to drive, passengers can be any age, and anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 needs a Florida boating permit, which they issue on site.
