Flying Fish Charters

Flying Fish Charters is a Key West-based light tackle and fly fishing guide service founded in 2015 and operated by Captain Jamie Connell from 711 Eisenhower Drive in Key West, Florida. Captain Connell moved to Key West in 2011 to pursue a career in guiding, spending several years running boats throughout the Florida Keys and the U.S. Virgin Islands before establishing Flying Fish Charters with the goal of providing anglers exceptional sight fishing experiences in the Lower Keys backcountry. Flying Fish Charters operates a 17-foot Maverick HPX flats skiff and targets tarpon, permit, bonefish, sharks, barracuda, redfish, snook, jacks, and trout depending on the season, offering both spin and fly fishing options for all experience levels. The charter also offers unique birding trips for nature enthusiasts looking to explore the diverse wildlife of the Florida Keys backcountry.
