Just a Few Friends Key West
Just a Few Friends Key West is an annual five-day Labor Day Weekend celebration organized by Key West native Paul Menta and produced by DailyPlan-It, transforming the streets, waterfront stages, and iconic bars of Key West into a music festival honoring the life and legacy of Jimmy Buffett each September. Now in its third year, the 2026 festival runs September 3 through September 7 and features free and ticketed performances at Sunset Pier, Sloppy Joe's Bar, Irish Kevin's, Hogs Breath Saloon, and the Chart Room Bar, with artists including Will Kimbrough, Howard Livingston and the Mile Marker 24 Band, The Wheeland Brothers, Gary and the Landsharks, Grammy-nominee Nadirah Shakoor, and original Coral Reefer Band guitarist Roger Bartlett. Festival highlights include the Second Line Memorial Parade down Duval Street, Party in the Park oceanfront concerts at Truman Waterfront, harbor sunset sails with live music, the Milagro Margarita Bar Stroll, a Cheeseburger Beach Party, and a Parrots & Margaritas 5K run. Collectible event badges are available for $35 with proceeds directly benefiting Reef Relief, the Bahama Village Music Program, and the Key West High School Scholarship Program, with badge holders receiving reserved viewing areas, early entry to concerts, and access to exclusive private performances throughout the festival week.
