Long Key State Park

Long Key State Park, located at Mile Marker 67.5 on U.S. Highway 1, features two nature trails—the 1.2-mile Golden Orb Trail and the quarter-mile Layton Trail—offering views of mangroves, tropical hammocks, and coastal habitats. Visitors can enjoy activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, and birdwatching. The park provides tent-only campsites equipped with picnic tables, grills, and hammock stands. Amenities include cold-water showers, restrooms, and a picnic pavilion. Entrance fees are $5 per vehicle, with an additional $0.50 per person for groups of two or more. The park is open daily from 8:00 AM to sunset.
