One Fish, Two Fish Studio

One Fish Two Fish Studio is on Whitehead Street in Old Town, a block or so down from the Hemingway Home and the Key West Lighthouse, which makes it an easy addition to a morning already spent on that stretch. The work runs across watercolor, acrylic and mixed media.

The main offering is teaching. The studio runs art classes, which puts it in a small group of Key West businesses where a visitor can spend an afternoon making something rather than buying something. For anyone travelling with a group, or with a rainy afternoon and no boat booked, a class with a working local artist is a better use of the time than another walk down Duval.

Beyond the classes, the studio takes commissioned work, including murals and pet portraits, which is a more personal souvenir of a trip than a print. This is a small, independent studio rather than a staffed gallery, so contact ahead to book a class or ask about a commission.
