Reef Roamer Catamaran Snorkel Sail

Reef Roamer Catamaran Snorkel Sail is a family-owned operation that has been sailing the reefs since 2006, departing from Old Conch Harbor behind the Old Tavernier Restaurant at mile marker 90.3 in Tavernier. The boat is a custom-built 44-foot sailing catamaran that rides flat and stable, with an easy-access staircase ladder so snorkelers of all ages can slip into the shallow, marine-rich water of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.

There are three ways to go out. The morning Rise and Shine trip and the afternoon two-site trip focus on reef snorkeling, while the sunset sail pairs snorkeling with a cruise home and a complimentary rum punch. Snorkeling gear is included for everyone aboard, with masks, snorkels, fins, and safety vests, and the crew runs a "No Touch, No Take" approach on the reef to keep the sanctuary healthy.

A couple of things worth knowing before you book: the boat offers a weather guarantee, with a refund or reschedule if winds top 15 mph or seas run over 2 feet, so a rough-water day does not cost you the trip.
