Superfish Charters

Superfish Charters is a Marathon fishing charter service owned and operated by Captain Jeff Rella, a Keys native who grew up commercial fishing and spearfishing before earning his captain's license at 18 and spending the past 30 years guiding anglers through every corner of the Middle Keys fishery from the nearshore patch reefs to the famous Marathon Hump 30 miles offshore in the Atlantic to remote Gulf structure spots 50 miles out. The Superfish fleet consists of a custom-built 34-foot SeaVee and a flagship 39-foot SeaVee powered by quad 300 HP Suzuki engines — capable of a 40-knot cruise — with an 11-foot beam, expanded 770-gallon fuel capacity, full electronics including twin 22-inch displays, 72-mile radar, and FLIR night vision, and a Federal Gulf of Mexico charter permit allowing access to waters other charters cannot legally fish. Superfish Charters targets a full spectrum of species including snapper, grouper, mahi, blackfin tuna, sailfish, cobia, kingfish, shark, permit, African pompano, snowy grouper, queen snapper, and golden tilefish across reef, wreck, offshore, deep-drop, and far Gulf trip formats ranging from half-day to 8-plus-hour full-day adventures. The charter is conveniently located with free parking behind the Fairfield Inn Marathon and adjacent to Sparky's Landing Fish n Cocktails near the Key Colony Beach turn, and is praised for its family-friendly approach, custom-tailored trip planning, and Captain Jeff's easygoing patience with anglers of all experience levels.
