17th Annual Plein Air Key West

Plein Air Key West, hosted by the Key West Art Center & Gallery, invites artists to capture the beauty of the island by painting outdoors in real time throughout historic Key West. During this annual event, participating artists set up at locations of their choice across the island and have several hours to create original works inspired by the tropical scenery, architecture, and waterfront views. Completed paintings are returned to the Art Center and displayed for the public, with artwork available for purchase and a People’s Choice award announced during the evening reception.
