18th Annual A Positive Step 5K Rudolph Red Nose Run

Saturday, December 12, 2026, at 8 a.m. Pull on your most festive holiday pajamas and head to the southern end of Duval Street for the 18th Annual A Positive Step 5K Rudolph Red Nose Run.

Starting and finishing at Southernmost Beach Café, 1405 Duval Street in Key West, this holiday 5K welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Race-day check-in begins at 7 a.m., followed by the start at 8 a.m.

Participants are encouraged to embrace the holiday spirit and show up in their loudest, funniest, or most creative pajamas. Every registrant receives an official event T-shirt, collectible race bag, and commemorative cup, while age-group winners receive laser-engraved wooden medals.

After crossing the finish line, stick around for refreshments, awards, a silent auction, and prizes for the most festive and most unusual pajamas. Pre-race packet pickup will be held Friday, December 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Southernmost Beach Café.

Registration is $50 through November 30 at 11:59 p.m. EST and increases to $60 beginning December 1.

The run is presented by A Positive Step of Monroe County in partnership with the Key West Southernmost Runners. Proceeds benefit A Positive Step’s Idle Hands Summer Youth Employment Program, which provides employment opportunities and support for at-risk youth in Monroe County.

Celebrate the season Key West-style with a morning of festive pajamas, community spirit, and a 5K that gives back to local youth.
