92nd Key West End of Prohibition Celebration

92nd Key West End of Prohibition Celebration

Celebrate the end of Prohibition, the 1920-1933 U.S. ban on alcohol, at this rollicking festival that also celebrates the birth of Sloppy Joe’s Bar. Festivities include three days of rum tastings and mixology presentations, nonstop live entertainment, tales of Key West’s infamous rumrunners, Prohibition-era film showings, a period costume contest and much more.

On Dec. 5, revelers can party like it’s 1933 at an epic gathering that marks the 92nd anniversary of Prohibition’s repeal — and the opening of Sloppy Joe’s.

Events are headquartered at Sloppy Joe’s, 201 Duval Street, Key West.
