Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with an unforgettable evening at one of the country’s most iconic and photographed landmarks — the historic Old Seven Mile Bridge in Marathon.
Presented as part of America 250 Florida Keys, the 7 Mile Bridge Sunset Celebration invites residents and visitors to gather beside the water for a uniquely Keys experience filled with local flavors, live music, history, culture, and community spirit — all leading up to a spectacular Florida Keys sunset at 7:05 p.m.
Sample culinary creations prepared by the Marathon High School Culinary Program, showcasing the talents of the next generation of Keys chefs. Guests can also enjoy fresh, locally inspired offerings from Grimal Grove and other community partners, while learning more about local agriculture and the people and organizations working to preserve the distinctive character of the Florida Keys.
With live entertainment, local food, community connections, and the Old Seven Mile Bridge as its backdrop, the celebration offers a memorable way to honor the nation’s milestone anniversary while experiencing the history and culture of the Keys.
Come hungry, enjoy the music, and watch the sun set over the water as the Florida Keys celebrate America at 250.
