Bike MS: Breakaway to the Keys

Bike MS: Breakaway to the Keys

October 10–11, 2026. Pedal with purpose or lend a hand along the route during Bike MS: Breakaway to the Keys, a two-day cycling event benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and its mission to create a world free of MS.

Cyclists will journey through the Florida Keys, surrounded by ocean views and tropical scenery while joining a community united by a common cause. For 2026, the event start line has been relocated to North Key Largo due to road closures, so participants should review the latest ride details before event weekend.

Volunteers are an essential part of the experience, with hundreds of volunteer positions available throughout the two-day event. Opportunities include assisting with food and beverage service, rider check-in, VIP areas, rest stops, start and finish activities, cheer teams, and other event support roles. Shifts vary, allowing volunteers to participate for a few hours or throughout the weekend.

For those taking part as cyclists, the event carries a $300 fundraising minimum, with funds supporting the National MS Society’s work on behalf of people affected by multiple sclerosis.

Whether you’re riding, volunteering, or cheering from the sidelines, Bike MS offers a meaningful way to experience the Florida Keys while becoming part of a community working toward an important cause.

Sign up for a volunteer shift, get in the saddle, or come out to support the cyclists during an inspiring weekend of community, determination, and purpose in the Florida Keys.
