Cayo Foodways: Movement, Migration, and Mestizaje is an immersive culinary event exploring the rich cultural history of the Florida Keys through food. Hosted in collaboration with the Key West Art & Historical Society, the evening features a multi-course tasting experience highlighting the region’s diverse culinary influences shaped by migration and cultural exchange. Guests will also hear insights from historian Dr. Cori Convertito, who will introduce the exhibition _Food: Celebrating Conch Cuisine_ and discuss the stories behind the island’s food traditions. The event takes place March 21 from 7:00–9:00 PM at the Key West Cooking Show and offers a unique blend of history, storytelling, and local flavors.
