Duo Kinetica: Jiayin Shen & Eric Dyer

Visual artist Eric Dyer and pianist Jiayin Shen join forces for Duo Kinetica, a multimedia performance developed through a residency at The Studios of Key West. Dyer’s hand-spun animations, inspired by Victorian-era optical devices, are presented alongside Shen’s live piano performances, creating an immersive experience that explores the relationship between movement, image and sound. The program features music by composers including Bach, Reich and Golijov.
