Fall Lecture Series: Local Chefs Panel

 Wednesday, October 14, 2026. The Florida Keys History & Discovery Center opens its fall lecture series with a panel of local chefs, held on the grounds of the Islander Resort in Islamorada.

The evening starts with a social hour at 5:00 p.m. and the program begins at 6:00 p.m. The fall series is built around food and folklore, and this first night puts the people cooking in Keys kitchens in front of the room to talk about it.

The center's lecture programming exists to connect the community with the history, ecology and cultural heritage of the Keys and of Florida more broadly.

Admission is free for members and $10 for everyone else.
