Get Trashed: Marine Debris Cleanup

The Lower Keys Guides Association invites the community to come together for the annual Get Trashed Marine Debris Cleanup on Sunday, January 11, from 1–4 p.m. at the grassy lawn behind Sugarloaf Lodge. This fun, family-friendly event brings local fishing guides, residents, and visitors together to clean up marine debris on land and sea while giving back to the waters that sustain the Florida Keys. Participants can enjoy free food and drinks, friendly competitions for the most unusual and impressive trash finds, and a lively afternoon of community camaraderie. The event is free, open to all ages, and welcomes participants arriving by boat or car.
