Experience world-class fly fishing in the waters surrounding Key West during the IGFA Permit Invitational, an exclusive, invitation-only tournament dedicated to one of the flats’ most challenging and prized gamefish.

Over several days, participating anglers will take to the legendary waters of the Lower Keys in pursuit of permit on fly, putting their skills to the test while enjoying the spectacular marine environment that has made the Florida Keys an internationally renowned sportfishing destination.

The tournament experience extends beyond the water with dockside gatherings, camaraderie among anglers and guides, and an awards dinner celebrating the competition and its top performers. Oceans Edge Resort & Marina serves as the event’s home base, combining tournament action with the relaxed atmosphere of a Key West getaway.

The Invitational also fishes for a greater purpose, with proceeds supporting the International Game Fish Association and its conservation efforts to help protect gamefish and their habitats for future generations.
