Junk in the Trunk: Truman Waterfront Community Yard Sale

Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Junk in the Trunk returns to Truman Waterfront Park for a straight ahead community yard sale, no theme attached.

Residents sell directly from their vehicles along the East Quay Wall, which turns the morning into a rolling treasure hunt. Household goods, decor, tools, vintage finds, collectibles and all the unexpected things that make a good yard sale worth exploring show up here, and the mix changes every time because the sellers do.

The event was created as an easy alternative to hosting a yard sale at home and has grown into a casual Saturday morning gathering where neighbors clear out clutter, make a little money, find something unexpected and keep useful items in circulation. It debuted with more than 30 sellers.

Shoppers have nothing to register for. Come ready to browse and bargain. Parking at Truman Waterfront Park is free with a residential parking sticker.

Sellers are placed as they arrive and keep 100 percent of what they make. Pre registered spaces run $15 for a car, $20 for a truck or SUV and $25 for a van or trailer, with drive up spaces $5 more if room remains. Load in starts at 6:00 a.m. and sellers should be set by 8:00 a.m. Businesses, established resale, antique, vintage and collectible vendors and nonprofits are welcome with advance registration at bit.ly/garagesalekeywest.
