Key West: Surface Interval Dive Social

Key West: Surface Interval Dive Social

Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in Key West.

Whether you are a brand new diver or you have hundreds of dives under your belt, come hang out with fellow members of the local dive community at Divers Direct on Greene Street. Share your favorite dive stories, swap photos and trip recommendations, meet new dive buddies, and talk all things diving in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

If you have ever surfaced from a good dive with nobody around who wanted to hear about it, this is the night for you. Surface interval is the time between dives, and that is exactly the mood: no tanks, no schedule, just the people who get it.

There is plenty to talk about down here. Key West diving runs from crystal blue water and beautiful corals to a serious variety of marine life, with sites like Looe Key, Sand Key, the Sambo Reefs, the Cayman Salvager and the Vandenberg, the second largest vessel in the world ever purposely sunk to become an artificial reef. Open water divers and technical divers both find plenty to work with.

Divers Direct Key West calls itself Key West's largest and best stocked dive shop, with thousands of items on the floor from Cressi, Mares, EVO and Tusa, air fills, scuba gear and beach wear. It sits at 535 Greene Street, just around the corner from Duval, and the doors are open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
