Kick off the week with the smooth sounds of Monday Night Jazz Jams at the William Weech American Legion Post 168 in Key West. Held every Monday from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m., this weekly gathering brings together talented local and visiting musicians for an evening of classic jazz, spontaneous improvisation, and relaxed island energy.
Hosted by accomplished Key West pianist Larry Smith, the jam session offers an intimate, lounge-style atmosphere where no two nights are exactly the same. Musicians share the stage, trade solos, and build on one another’s energy, creating the kind of spontaneous musical moments that make live jazz so engaging.
Whether you are a dedicated jazz enthusiast, a visiting music lover, or simply looking for a laid-back way to experience Key West after dark, Monday Night Jazz Jams offers a welcoming place to settle in, enjoy the music, and connect with the local community.
The event takes place at William Weech American Legion Post 168, 803 Emma Street, in Key West’s historic Bahama Village neighborhood. Stop by for an evening of great musicianship, relaxed conversation, and one of the island’s most distinctive weekly live-music experiences.
