Monroe County Fire Rescue “Beat the Heat”

Join Monroe County Fire Rescue this summer for “Beat the Heat,” a fun and family-friendly event series across the Florida Keys. Kids and families can cool off with water misting activities, meet local firefighters, and learn important summer fire safety tips. Guests are encouraged to bring swimsuits, water shoes, towels, and water bottles. 

Events take place Saturdays from 10–11 a.m.

June 6 – Layton Community Baptist Church, Layton 

June 13 – Big Pine Key Community Park, Big Pine Key 

June 20 – Sugarloaf School, Sugarloaf Key 

June 27 – Bernstein Park, Stock Island
