Celebrate education, community, and ocean conservation at REEF’s Ocean After Hours: Educator Open House, taking place September 1 at the REEF Ocean Exploration Center in Key Largo.
Designed to recognize the teachers and educators who inspire the next generation of ocean stewards, this free event welcomes teachers, school administrators, School Board members, families, and community members for an engaging evening of exploration and connection.
Throughout the Ocean Exploration Center campus, guests can visit interactive stations featuring hands-on activities, exhibits, and demonstrations focused on the unique marine environment of the Florida Keys. It’s an opportunity to discover local ocean life, learn more about conservation, and explore educational resources that can help bring marine science to life.
Educators can also learn more about REEF’s educational programs and opportunities, gather inspiration for the classroom, and connect with others who share a passion for marine science and environmental stewardship.
Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided, adding to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere at REEF’s campus at Mile Marker 98.3.
