REEF Fest
Dive into four days of marine discovery, adventure, and conservation when REEF Fest returns to Key Largo October 15–18, 2026.
Hosted by the Reef Environmental Education Foundation (REEF), this annual celebration brings divers, snorkelers, scientists, naturalists, and ocean enthusiasts together to explore and celebrate the extraordinary underwater world of the Florida Keys.
At the heart of the festival is a free seminar series featuring scientists, explorers, and conservation experts sharing fascinating insights and stories from the frontiers of ocean discovery. This year, seminars take place at REEF’s Ocean Exploration Center at Mile Marker 98.3, a 4,000-square-foot facility featuring immersive exhibits, a science classroom, and marine-themed displays.
The adventure continues beyond the classroom with a full lineup of diving and snorkeling excursions, social gatherings, and hands-on experiences. Participants can book trips with local operators to explore the spectacular reefs, wrecks, and marine life that have helped make Key Largo famous as the Dive Capital of the World.
A highlight of the weekend is the signature For the Love of the Sea celebration, bringing the REEF community together at a scenic seaside setting for an evening dedicated to the ocean.
Whether you’re an experienced diver, a casual snorkeler, or simply passionate about marine life, REEF Fest offers an inspiring combination of education, exploration, conservation, and community.
Come learn from ocean experts, explore the legendary waters of the Upper Keys, and celebrate a shared passion for protecting the sea at REEF Fest 2026!
