REEF Fish & Friends: Everglades Restoration

Join REEF Fish & Friends for an evening exploring Everglades restoration and its role in strengthening resilience from South Florida’s headwaters to the Florida Keys. This program features Meenakshi, Ecosystem and Resilience Scientist with The Everglades Foundation, who brings expertise in ecosystem science, resilience planning, and environmental decision-making.
The talk will highlight how restoration efforts and policy choices in the Everglades influence ecological health, economic outcomes, and community resilience throughout South Florida. The event takes place on April 14, 2026, from 6:15 to 8:00 p.m. at the REEF Ocean Exploration Center in Key Largo, with a casual social hour followed by the presentation.
