Reef Relief Storm Drain Stenciling
Reef Relief Storm Drain Stenciling is a volunteer event focused on protecting the Florida Keys’ coastal waters by raising awareness about pollution entering local storm drains. Participants help stencil messages such as “No Dumping, Drains to Ocean” on storm drains to remind the community that rainwater runoff flows directly into nearby canals and the ocean without filtration. This simple but powerful action helps prevent trash, chemicals, and other pollutants from reaching marine habitats while educating the public about water quality and reef protection. Volunteers will meet on March 13 at 9:00 a.m. at the Staples Avenue Pedestrian Bridge, and all materials will be provided
