REEF Science Saturdays: Fishy Teamwork
Saturday, November 21, 2026, 11:00 a.m.
REEF’s Science Saturdays series looks at how marine species depend on one another. The session covers cooperation, competition and the partnerships that form on a reef, and explains how those relationships keep an ocean ecosystem healthy.
A hands-on activity follows the lesson. The session is free and open to the public, with all ages welcome, and takes place in the Science Discovery Classroom at REEF’s Ocean Exploration Center.
The center opened in June 2025 and sits in the median at mile marker 98.3 in Key Largo, reached by Bahama Road. Admission is free, with donations encouraged.
