The Writer & the Island: A Tennessee Williams Walking Tour

Discover the places that shaped one of America’s most celebrated playwrights on “The Writer & the Island: A Tennessee Williams Walking Tour.” Led by Tennessee Williams Museum curator Dennis Beaver, this guided stroll through Old Town explores the streets, theaters, bars, and historic buildings connected to Williams’ life in Key West. Along the way, participants will learn how the island influenced his work and how Key West became both a creative refuge and home for the Pulitzer Prize–winning writer. The tour begins at the Waterfront Playhouse and concludes at the Tennessee Williams Museum.
