Millionaire Gallery

Millionaire Gallery is a dealer in authenticated celebrity memorabilia rather than a conventional art gallery, and its Key West space on Duval Street trades under the name Rock Lives On Gallery. What hangs on the walls is signed material presented as finished pieces: autographs, instruments, garments and photographs built into shadowbox displays designed to be hung rather than filed away.

The inventory is organized by world. There is a large signed sports collection, a Hollywood and television collection, a music collection heavy on rock, a group of signed historical figures, and a black-and-white collection tied to the company's longtime golf memorabilia business in Miami. Stock turns over, so what is on the wall on any given week changes.

The part that matters if you are actually buying is the authentication. Signed items are verified by third-party authenticators including JSA, PSA and Beckett, and each one ships with a letter of authenticity. That is the industry standard for this category and it is the reason to buy a signature from a dealer rather than off a marketplace.

The gallery also does its own custom framing, and it hand-packs shadowboxes into protective crates for insured delivery, shipping internationally. Pieces bought in Key West do not have to travel home with you.

Hours here run later than most of the galleries on the street. The Key West location opens in the mid-afternoon and stays open into the evening, seven days a week, which makes it an easy stop after dinner rather than something to work into a daytime itinerary.
