Beginning at 6 p.m., the Miami-based ensemble takes the stage in the brewery’s outdoor beer garden for a free, all-ages evening of Cuban music and culture. Known for their signature son montuno style, Cortadito celebrates the traditional Cuban sounds of the early 20th century with infectious rhythms, vibrant musicianship, and plenty of energy.
The evening will feature beloved songs associated with the Grammy-winning Buena Vista Social Club, along with original selections from Cortadito’s own catalog. The group has spent more than a decade sharing Cuban folk music with audiences around the world, earning recognition from NPR’s Alt.Latino and performing throughout the United States and internationally.
Set within Islamorada’s colorful Morada Way Arts & Cultural District, the performance pairs live music with the laid-back atmosphere of Florida Keys Brewing Company, where guests can enjoy locally brewed, island-inspired beers and food truck fare throughout the evening.
