Step back into the ’80s for a totally tubular night of mystery, comedy, and audience participation when Gold Murder Presents Killer Prom: A Tubular Interactive Murder Mystery Comedy at the Backstage Listening Room at the Key West Theater for five performances this November.
It’s Prom night at Key West High, and Prom committee head Melissa has everything planned for an electric evening. But before the seniors can hit the dance floor, there’s one final exam to pass — and this one could be deadly.
When outcast Jessie unexpectedly lands All-Star Conchs running back Jake as her Prom date, the unlikely couple quickly becomes part of a night filled with secrets and surprises. Add Jake’s best friend Matt, the star quarterback who happens to be dating Melissa, and this tight-knit group soon finds itself tangled in a mystery where longtime friendships may be put to the ultimate test.
Part comedy, part whodunit, and fully interactive, Killer Prom puts audience members in the middle of the action as they search for clues, unravel secrets, and try to solve the crime — all while enjoying plenty of outrageous ’80s-inspired fun.
Each ticket includes a complimentary dessert and sleuth prize package, and guests who arrive dressed in their best ’80s Prom attire can compete in a themed costume contest.
Doors open at 7 p.m., with the show beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 21, at noon.
