Mote's 4th Annual Reef Revival Fest

Friday, November 20, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. Celebrate coral science, restoration, and community during the 4th Annual Reef Revival Fest, a free, family-friendly event hosted by Mote Marine Laboratory in Islamorada.

The evening offers an opportunity to learn more about Mote’s work to restore the Florida Coral Reef while enjoying live music, local food trucks, and craft beer from Florida Keys Brewing Company. Families can also visit the Kids’ Zone, where interactive activities introduce young visitors to coral science and conservation.

Throughout the festival, guests can get a closer look at the science behind reef restoration through coral nursery tours, hands-on demonstrations, and educational activities. Visitors can learn how corals are propagated and prepared for restoration while meeting members of the team working to increase the resilience of reefs throughout the Florida Keys.

The celebration takes place at Mote’s Elizabeth Moore International Center for Coral Reef Research & Restoration at 24244 Overseas Highway on Summerland Key.

Admission is free, making Reef Revival Fest an inviting opportunity for residents and visitors of all ages to connect with marine scientists and learn more about efforts to protect and restore Florida’s coral reefs.
