Screaming Green Halloween

Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Celebrate Halloween with a green twist during Screaming Green Halloween at the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden on Stock Island.

This family-friendly celebration invites children to explore the Garden in costume while enjoying trick-or-treating, games, crafts, and Halloween activities surrounded by the tropical landscape. Families are encouraged to get creative with costumes incorporating natural, recycled, or repurposed materials, reflecting the Garden’s focus on conservation and sustainability.

Costume contests are divided into two age groups, with children ages 5 and younger judged at 12:15 p.m. and ages 6 and older at 1:15 p.m.

While exploring, families can also experience the Garden’s annual Scarecrows and Skeletons exhibition, featuring imaginative creations made by local artists, students, businesses, and organizations using natural, recycled, and repurposed materials. The outdoor exhibition remains on display through November 30.

Admission is $5 per child or $10 per family, and Key West Botanical Garden members are admitted free.

The event takes place at the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden, 5210 College Road on Stock Island.
