Witches in the Hammock

Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Celebrate spooky season with the whole family during Witches in the Hammock at Crane Point Museum & Nature Center in Marathon.

Take a lantern-lit walk through the hammock to someplace haunted, where witches gather to dance around the fire pit and ghosts and goblins may appear along the way. Young visitors can stop by Casper’s house to meet the friendly ghost, hear tales from pirates, and enjoy Halloween games and activities in the courtyard.

After exploring the haunted trail, hop aboard a hayride back to the courtyard, where the festivities continue with a Halloween movie, popcorn, cider, corn dogs, chili dogs, roasted corn, and other seasonal treats.

Admission is $15 for adults and $7 for children. The event takes place at Crane Point Museum & Nature Center, 5550 Overseas Highway in Marathon.

Dress for a little Halloween adventure and spend the evening exploring the hammock, meeting witches and ghosts, and enjoying a family-friendly night of spooky Florida Keys fun.
