7th Annual BBQ Rib Battle

Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come hungry for the 7th Annual BBQ Rib Battle, a lively Key West cookoff bringing grill masters, barbecue fans, music, and plenty of ribs to Ann Street in Old Town.

Hosted by the Greater Key West Chamber of Commerce and Shots and Giggles, the competition challenges up to 15 grill masters to show off their barbecue skills and compete for cash prizes for first, second, and third place.

Visitors can cheer on their favorite competitors while enjoying homemade barbecue ribs, tasty sides, music, and drinks in a festive street-party atmosphere. Ann Street between Greene and Caroline streets will be closed to traffic for the occasion, creating a walkable setting for the afternoon festivities.

For those who think their ribs have what it takes, grill master registration is free, although space is limited. Competitors are responsible for bringing and serving their own prepared ribs and are encouraged to personalize their stations for the competition.
