7th Annual Key West Mermaid Festival

July 2–5, 2026 Celebrate Independence Day weekend with a splash of island magic at the 7th Annual Key West Mermaid Festival. This four-day celebration blends the whimsical spirit of mermaids with the patriotic excitement of America's 250th anniversary, featuring themed parties, family-friendly activities, educational programs, and plenty of opportunities to embrace your inner mermaid in the heart of Key West. 

Festivities include a kickoff happy hour at Southernmost Pint Brewpub, mermaid encounters and educational activities at the Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center, the popular Mermaid Blue Party at Shots and Giggles, a beach party at Lagerheads Beach Bar, and a farewell pool party at Blue Flamingo Resort.
