Friends of the Islamorada Area State Parks Volunteers

Give back to some of the Upper Keys’ most beautiful natural and historic places by volunteering with the Friends of the Islamorada Area State Parks.

This dedicated citizen support organization hosts monthly conservation and cleanup activities throughout Islamorada-area state parks, giving volunteers a hands-on opportunity to help preserve the remarkable landscapes, habitats, and historic sites that make this part of the Florida Keys so special.

Volunteer projects may include shoreline and park cleanups, habitat stewardship, and other conservation efforts designed to protect native plants and wildlife while keeping these treasured places healthy and welcoming for visitors.

Along the way, volunteers can discover some of the area’s lesser-known natural gems, including pristine habitats and remote island preserves, while working alongside fellow nature lovers who share a passion for conservation.

With activities offered throughout the year, there are opportunities for both occasional and regular volunteers to get involved. Whether you call Islamorada home or simply want to give back to the environment you’ve come to enjoy, volunteering is a rewarding way to experience another side of the Upper Keys.

Reach out for upcoming volunteer opportunities and help protect Islamorada’s wild and wonderful state parks for generations to come!
