Heroes Salute 5K Run/Walk

Saturday, September 5, 2026, 7:00–8:30 a.m. Lace up and salute the heroes! Hawks Cay Resort kicks off its 18th Annual Heroes Salute Weekend with the Heroes Salute 5K Run/Walk — a beloved Florida Keys tradition honoring active-duty military, veterans, law enforcement, firefighters, and EMS personnel. Run or walk your way through the beautiful island of Duck Key decked out in your best patriotic, military, or first-responder gear, and celebrate the people who serve our communities. Registration includes a race bib, timing chip, and official race tee, with medals and prizes for the top three finishers in each category.
