Islander Resort Coastline Cleanup

Islander Resort Coastline Cleanup

Give back to the beautiful shores of Islamorada during the Islander Resort Coastline Cleanup, held every Monday in September at 3 p.m.

This relaxed, one-hour volunteer experience welcomes resort guests, locals, and visitors to help keep Islamorada’s coastline clean and protect the surrounding marine environment. Volunteers gather along the Islander Resort’s oceanfront to collect litter and debris before it can wash into the water and potentially harm wildlife.

Suitable for a variety of ages, the cleanup offers an easy and rewarding way to spend time outdoors, meet fellow ocean lovers, and make a positive contribution while enjoying the laid-back atmosphere of the Florida Keys.

As a thank-you, participating volunteers receive a $20 food and beverage credit at the resort, perfect for enjoying a refreshing drink or bite to eat after the cleanup.

Whether you’re staying at the Islander Resort, visiting Islamorada for the day, or looking for a regular way to give back, the Coastline Cleanup combines community, conservation, and island hospitality in one feel-good afternoon.

Lend a hand and help keep Islamorada beautiful, one Monday at a time!
