Change a life one word at a time with Literacy Volunteers of America – Monroe County! Since 1984, trained volunteer tutors have helped Florida Keys adults improve reading, writing, and English skills through free, confidential one-on-one and small-group sessions. In 2025 alone, 142 volunteer tutors helped 326 students reach personal goals — part of over 7,900 students helped since 1984.
