Plogging the Keys Volunteer Cleanups

Plogging the Keys, run by Keep Key West Beautiful, hosts free, family-friendly cleanups every Friday morning from 8 to 9 a.m. (plus some Saturdays) at rotating spots across the island, from Mallory Square to neighborhood parks and beaches. "Plogging" pairs a relaxed stroll with picking up litter, so you get a little fresh-air exercise while helping keep paradise pristine. It is one of the easiest ways for visitors to give back during a stay, and everything you need is provided: gloves, pickers, buckets, vests, hand sanitizer, and a parking pass. Just one hour makes a real difference, and cleanups often wrap with a thank-you breakfast from a local host. Come lend a hand, meet friendly locals, and help keep Key West beautiful!
